It's time for NOLA Jazz Fest
April is in full spring and that means it's time for Scramble to make his pilgrimage across the great Mississippi river to the home of the Saints- for The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. 2010 marks the 15th consecutive year for Scramble's annual journey to the highly enriching explosion of culture. Last year alone he painted 22 paintings in the 7 days he attended the festival. Over all 15 years, he's painted over 150 paintings at the Jazz Fest alone.

The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival offers a rare opportunity for Scramble to get up close and personal with some of the greatest singers and songwriters of all time. Here are a few act's Scramble anticipates painting this year: The Queen of Soul - Aretha Franklin, Jeff Beck, Pearl Jam, Simon & Garfunkle, Dr. John & The Black Crows.

It's on & you can bet Scramble will be splashing and splattering his brilliantly colored paints all over town. Scramble will be at the fairgrounds in his usual spot, to the right in front of the sound booth. Be sure to come by and see how the paintings are coming along from time to time.

This year Scramble will be showing his festival paintings at: Frenchylive Galleries 8311 Oak Street New Orleans, La 70118 504.861.7595

Also in NOLA, be sure to catch Scramble at the Fantastic Hullabaloo. Scramble & John Bukaty will be painting on stage with The Dirty Dozen Brass Band. The 12 Bar 610 S. Peters @ Lafayette Thursday the 29th beginning at 9:30 pm.

Be sure to check back in a few weeks. We will be updating the artwork often. Original paintings are available for purchase. We also have many limited edition giclee's and posters available too!
