Shay with Mom & Dad @ Planet Salmon Fest. '00 In Lyons Colorado

First let me begin by expressing my gratitude for all of the kind and generous friends we know and have made along our way. The light of such beautiful souls has brightened our lives.

I was raised in New Mexico. I now live in Florida. The love of art & music is in my blood. My parents are artists. My dad plays guitar and builds wooden instruments, he also draws and paints. My mom sews paints and creates also. They both enjoy making pottery in Wild Child Studio they built behind there home in Southeastern New Mexico.

I saw my 1st concert in 1989. Soon thereafter I was on the road. I was doing things like hair wraps and wreaths made of eucalyptus for your hair, hippie patchwork clothes, backpacks and pouches. I love to create things (especially from recycled objects) and travel to new places.

At the beginning of 1995 I met Scramble and we began our life together. We have spent most of the past 6 years following our passion. Our love for beautiful music in combination with creating art. One year after we met, our dog Mc Grupp walked in our door and jumped on the bed. He has been traveling with us ever since.

When we travel, I usually carry a bag of Shay-Shay gear for bartering power. It is always fun to trade with other creative people.

At some of the festivals we set up mobile art gallery. I watch the booth and also set up my own gear with the fun art. Usually I am close to where Scramble is painting live.

I enjoy talking to people interested in his expression. It is beautiful to share this with people so he is not disturbed in his creative process. I consider myself a lucky girl. Aside from the fact that I get to watch Scramble paint more than anyone. I also get to date him. We went to over 100 music events and visited more than 10 national parks on a 30,000-mile journey summer tour in 2000.

Traveling from Florida to Oregon twice, up the West Coast, through the canyonlands and arches of Utah, over the Rocky Mountains, and through the deserts of Arizona and New Mexico.

These are photos that remind me of my favorite people, places and things. I hope you enjoy them also.
